About our data center

Located in Langen, 20km south of Frankfurt am Main, our data center offers you excellent, low-latency connectivity to all major networks and end users throughout Europe. Our data center has dark fiber connections to Frankfurt am Main via Interxion (Digitalrealty) FRA1-16 and Equinix FR4-FR8.

Next to the data center, our office is located in a separate fire protection area. Our employees are close to your hardware, enabling time-critical work to be carried out quickly and newly delivered hardware to be swiftly put into operation.

Network connectivity

The network connectivity of our data center is carrier-neutral via various dark fiber connections to Frankfurt am Main (Interxion/Equinix). New network operators can be flexibly connected at any time, depending on availability and necessary structural measures. You can freely choose your carrier with us.

Within the data center, cross-connects via single and multimode are available; outside the data center, DWDM wavelengths or your own dark fiber connections are available.

Power supply

A secure power supply is the foundation of our colocation services, as well as an important quality feature of any data center. This is provided redundantly via A+B feeds, each secured with an autonomous online UPS system, and within 10 seconds, an automatically starting preheated backup generator (diesel generator) with 72-hour autonomy and SLA-guaranteed refueling.

Relevant quality parameters of the power supply are continuously measured and monitored, including (differential) current, phase angle, power factor, voltage, and frequency. Anomalies immediately alert our on-call service.

Cooling

Cooling in the data center is provided by several climate cabinets from renowned manufacturers and energy-efficient direct free cooling. This allows us to achieve significant savings, enabling us to maintain a PUE of under 1.2, which directly impacts your power costs and significantly benefits the environment.

We use a mix of filtered, blown-in outside air and refrigerant circuits with heat dissipation outside. Temperature and humidity are constantly monitored, and when necessary, mechanical cooling is automatically activated, and the dampers for free cooling are closed or the supply air is reduced.
